LilaLue Sweets is named after my grandmother, Lila. Born in 1917 in rural South Carolina, Lila worked as cook for the University of South Carolina. On the weekends, she sold prepared meals and homemade whiskey to help provide for her family. Lila was strong and determined to leave a legacy for those to come.
Over 100 years later, LilaLue Sweets continues in that legacy. Our small batch, baked-to-order cookies, cakes, and brownies are made with family recipes and shipped immediately to guarantee the sweetest experience. We add the finest whiskey as a reminder of the lovely Lila… plus it makes for one damn good treat.
